These girls are AMAZING. I cannot find anyone else as fabulous as they are in helping me get through the tough times of being a cadet girlfriend :) The shirts are GORGEOUS and I am so proud to wear mine.
These girls and shirts are amazing! :) I'm actually wearing mine right now! haha. I love how from wearing these shirts, our group went from 80 people to 105 people overnight! Rah Rah VMI :)
As the creator of the original "My Boyfriend Goes to VMI" Facebook group, I just want to express how genuinely happy I am to see the group carrying on in such an amazing and positive way. Without each other, it would have been more difficult to get through some of the days while the guys were being held hostage by the Mother I. I am very proud of each and every one of you - being a Keydet Girlfriend is not only an amazing honor and priviledge but hard work at the same time! You all look beautiful in your shirts, and I'm so pleased to have one even though I'm no longer dating a VMI man - that doesn't mean I'm not still a VMI GF though! Love you all very much :) -Rachel
Unfortunately, I am one of the girlfriends who lives hours and hours away, but when I wore my shirt to school, I got many comments and many more looks. I love our shirts and our girls!
Funny story: I had this one man that graduated from VMI in 1950B and he stopped me and a few other girls and said that he wanted to read our shirts because just seeing them brought back memories of when dates would pick him and his Brother Rats up from Barracks. He laughed for 5 minutes while reading the back of our shirts (which have a bunch of "You Know You're Dating a Keydet When.." jokes on it). Good stuff :)
These shirts look really fun. Many years ago I dated a VMI cadet and I would have LOVED to have a shirt like this. It is just amazing that you ladies have formed an entire group!!!!! A++ in my opinion.
These girls have always been there for me when I needed them. We carpool to VMI together, we get ready for the dances together, we tailgate at the games, and we're always there to talk to one another when no one else would understand what it is that we're going through.
I started dating a VMI cadet and was lucky enough to get a group of girl friends as well.
I love the creeper in the background taking a photo of their backsides... I hope it's because the backs of the shirts looked so good :)
I was very disappointed that I could not be at VMI that weekend and make the picture, but I was there in spirit! I absolutely love the shirts and am soo glad about how well they turned out! All of us girls are amazing! Im so glad to have you all to talk to, because we understand get other, we are all going through or have been through the same thing. Other girlfriends dont have a clue what its like to deal with the I, only here can your boyfriend get in trouble for whistling Dixie. lol I love you girls!
I love these so much! I'm so glad I saw them and asked! Now I'm a member of the group and SUPER excited about the next round of shirt ordering happening soon! Pretty soon people will begin to think you can buy them in the bookstore haha!

HI! Im Kelsey and I requested to be in the group. I REALLY want a tshirt. I was down there for homecoming and saw all of them. Very very cute! Is it possible i could get one somehow?
We started out as a Facebook group several years ago, coming together to support each other as we delt with our boyfriends handing over their lives to Virginia Military Institute for four years of "extreme discipline and extreme honor"! It can be really hard, but the group has been wonderful! Before last weekend we had about 87 members in the group and had ordered 47 shirts. By Monday following that weekend our group had grown to 111 members! This is from wearing our t-shirts and having girls come up to us left and right asking where we got them! Unfortunately, many of our girls live hours and hours away from VMI and weren't able to make it for that weekend! So, for about 15 girls to make that big an impact at such a big event was AMAZING! I'm so proud to be a VMI girlfriend!
