"Team RSDSA participated in the 2008 Achilles Walk for Hope & Possibility in Central Park, NYC on Sunday, June 22, 2008. RSDSA participates in the Achilles Walk to raise funds for research into better diagnosis, treatment options, and the possibility of a cure for complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). This year, we were the largest team at the Achilles Walk, at almost 200 participants. CRPS is a chronic neurological syndrome characterized by severe burning pain and extreme sensitivity to touch. RSDSA has funded $1,189,847 in research and grants for CRPS since 1992." -
