"This photo was taken just as we finished setting up our team tent at the Green Lake Relay for Life in Seattle. We Relay-ed in honor of our friend Mara Upenieks, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation for uterine cancer. In March, Mara was diagnosed with uterine cancer, only three weeks after her mother was diagnosed with the same disease. Mara's mother lost her fight with cancer in May. Mara remains strong. We Relay-ed because we WILL find a cure." -
