"Connor (age 8) was the Youth Ambassador for our area's American Diabetes Association Step Out Walk to Fight Diabetes. We ordered matching Custom Ink shirts for our team members to celebrate this special honor. The were perfect!
We decided to name our team "Team Coffey...Good to the Last Drop!" because our last name is Coffey, and Brian & I love to drink coffee. "Good to the last drop" can refer to either a warm mug of coffee OR a drop of blood needed to measure blood glucose levels. Both Connor (age 8) and Brian (age 36) test their blood sugars before every meal, exercise or whenever they have symptoms of low blood sugar (under 80) or high blood sugar (over 180). It is a constant struggle to find the right balance of insulin and carbohydrates to get their blood sugars in range. 365/24/7 - it's a full time job to keep our family healthy.
The word "Drop" makes our family automatically think of blood. What does it make you think of? We hope that one day we will think of drinking the last drop of coffee from a mug or feeling raindrops on our faces instead of blood on a test strip.
Our team t-shirts this year were coffee brown color from Custom Ink. The front said "Team Coffey" with a picture of a cup of steaming hot coffee, and the back said "Good to the Last Drop!" with a picture of a child's finger with a tiny drop of blood on it.
We heard lots of other walkers commenting on our clever shirt design. We beamed with pride throughout the walk. Thank you Custom Ink!"

We raised money for Prevent Child Abuse Texas, and then walked 20 miles to make a statement! This picture was taken at one of the beautiful missions, since we are walking along the mission trail. We received many compliments on our t-shirts, which wouldn't have been possible without the gracious help from CustomInk!!! CustomInk provides great customer service and fast delivery!! Thank you CustomInk for helping us make a HUGE statement for our child abuse prevention cause!!!"

"Blake's Eyes of Texas raised $28,700 for the Foundation Fighting Blindness as part of Houston VisionWalk 2009. Blake, a 23-year-old law student who is a graduate of The University of Texas, was diagnosed this year with retinitis pigmentosa, degenerative disease that causes blindness. Blake's family and friends walked in support of a cure to save his sight. Our team had nearly 70 walkers, and when we ran out of shirts two days before the event, CustomInk filled a reorder with time to spare. Yea CustomInk! Of course, the shirts were in Blake's favorite color, burnt orange, featuring his favorite team's mascot, a longhorn!"

"These are the 2009 MonSter Slayers on Day 1 of the 50k MS Challenge Walk. They are a fun group that raised a lot of money (more than $9,000) to find a cure for MS. Last year we had purple t-shirts and this year the crew at CustomInk were great help in converting everything to yellow. We're already planning next year's shirts!"

"This is the American Breast Cancer Walk that we have been doing for several years now. We walk for Pat Thornberry who is a breast cancer survivor from our group. Last year we decided we wanted to stand out from the crowd, so we created our own shirts. We turned to CustomInk, and the shirts were a hit. This year we again designed our shirts with the help of CustomInk and once again received several compliments on them. We'll see you next year."

"This is our team for the Houston VisionWalk on October 24, 2009. The VisionWalk is a fundraiser event for the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Our family chose to support their research to support a member of our family with Cone Rod Dystrophy. We have hope that one day there will be a cure. Our team was successful in raising over $7,000 and the entire Houston Chapter over $115,000. CustomInk was wonderful in helping our team stand out with a unique design that was so easy to accomplish online. They also made a donation to help fight blindness! Thank you CustomInk!"
