"This is the first group of students from Brown University to go to a rural community in the Dominican Republic to start a sustainable community development project. We were there for three weeks in January supporting community members in their endeavors to improve their community infrastructure, returned over spring break, and are now going back in the summer for 8 weeks. "Members from JMT's Newark, DE office volunteered for a Habitat for Humanity build in Wilmington, DE. It was a great way for persons in the office to have fun together outside of work and also give back to the local community.During the day, volunteers worked on hanging exterior doors, installing windows, framing partition walls, cutting scrap plywood to resell, prepping for drywall installation and site cleanup. We’re already looking forward to another build in the fall!"

"This was taken in mid-October at a light rail metro station in Houston, Texas at the Houston Hoe Down 2006, a reunion event for volunteers of the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Organization. "The red t-shirt in the photo was one of the 100 designed and ordered through CustomInk to raise money for a volunteer trip to Kenya during the summer of 2006. With the help of t-shirt sales, I did construction work on Huruma Centre, an orphanage in Kenya. It was an incredible experience and I believe I'm Peace Corps bound!"
