"My grandmother is currently in hospice after a long battle with Alzheimer's. I organized a team so that my family and a few best friends could walk the Memory Walk in Riverside park on October 25th for Alzheimer's research. The design I made had a heart outline over our hearts so that everyone could personalize who they were walking for (i.e. Mom, Grandma, Aunt Jo). We are very proud to say that our t-shirts were a hit (many people asked if we had extra to sell!) and our team raised over $1,500.00 for Alzheimer's research :) Thanks Customink.com!"

"This is a picture of Team Gilliard at the 2009 Memory Walk to End Alzheimer's Disease. We walked in memory of my husband who passed away on June 30, 2009 from this cruel disease. We have raised over $1900.00 and counting for the cause! We received many, many compliments on ours shirts and some teams are going to order their own shirts for the Walk next year. The shirts are of excellent quality and really showed our team spirit!!!"

"We ordered our t-shirts for the Memory Walk 2009, a walk to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. The walk took place at Keyspan Park in Brooklyn. The picture was taken on the stoop of my mom's house...how Brooklyn is that? Our team was the top fundraising team for the event. We like to think our shirts put us over the top..."

"Alzheimer's Memory Walk 2008. Enfield, CT. We had the unfortunate experience of having a family member who suffered from Alzheimers disease. When the opportunity to walk in the 2008 Memory Walk to raise money for Alzheimers research came to Enfield CT ~ approx 2 months after our NENA lost her battle---it was our chance to show support and raise money to help find a cure! CustomInk was AWESOME to work with. Communication, pricing and customer service puts them at the top of my list! They are so very helpful! It almost feels like working with family! "This is most of my family that was able to participate in the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk. This event was in Libertyville, IL at the Independence Grove forest preserve. On August 31, 2008 my Grandmother passed away from Dementia. Although my family knew that my Grandma was in the last stage of the disease, we did not realize that this stage would pass so quickly. Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease are terrible diseases that tear apart people's lives. My Grandma was an extremely caring, loving, and giving person. She helped my family pay the bills when my dad lost his job, she helped my parents put a down payment on the house I live in now, and she did countless selfless things to just see people happy. My Grandmother loved to go to church, take walks, having wonderful conversations with family and friends, and bake her bread and cookies (a family favorite). Dementia ripped all of the things my Grandma loved away from her. Although my family and I visited her very often, it still could not bring back her memory, ability to walk, or even talk. I started this team to get my family together to remember all the wonderful things about my Grandmother. We walked this year for the first time, and just a month after my Grandmother had passed. It was a heart warming experience to have our family together to support one another. Our experience with CustomInk was just great. Not only did we get to order my Grandma's favorite color for our t-shirts, but we were able to custom design the font and words on the front of the shirt. What really blew me away was that a representative from CustomInk emailed me to let me know that they would be donating to our fund. It was a very unreal moment. Usually companies just want your business, but CustomInk really wants to connect with their customers. Thank you CustomInk for a wonderful t-shirt that just made our family unified and stronger. We are Grandma's Angels."

"The event this was taken at was the 2007 memory walk for alzheimers research. I formed a team for my grandmother who has had alzheimers for the last 11 years. My mother, and me have been my grandmothers primary caregivers along with my aunt. This year however has been a tough year and each moment that we have left is a very special one. When I formed this team I chose the name bluebirds because my grandmother loved sitting and watching the birds everyone day at her house and her favorite was the blue birds! I had the most wonderful experience with customink and will use them each year that we walk in this most awsome event!The staff was very helpful each step of the way and the website was so easy that I had no problem designing the tshirt that I had envisioned! "This is our second annual Alzheimer's Walk in St. Louis, Missouri. Our mom was diagnosed several years ago with Alzheimer's, so this walk is very dear to our heart. She is the lady in the second row on the right (green t shirt and pink pants). We have been very pleased the last two years with our t shirts and sweatshirts. The colors were better than we expected. We love them!"
