"This photo was taken during a bone marrow drive on November 1st in Bridgeport, CT for an 11 year old boy (Nick) that has been diagnosed with 2 types of leukemia. We're all part of Team Nick in one way or another, and together, we'll all be army strong. The Tee shirts were a hit and I received numbers orders for them. "We participated in "Light the Night," the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's night to remember those who have been stricken with blood cancers. Our friend Arthur passed away from Leukemia this past August and we walked (as Arthur's Angels) in his memory."

"October 18th was a special night for team GG's Girls. We were all walking together to support our best friend Mel who lost her Mom two years ago to leukemia. Although we didn't know GG, we do know Mel who is an amazing woman--just like her mom. That night was dedicated to GG and everybody else who has been affected by leukemia.
