Melissa ran to raise money for Girls in the Game, a charity that teaches girls how to stay active, healthy, and teaches important leadership lessons through sports/exercise. "This is most of my family that was able to participate in the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk. This event was in Libertyville, IL at the Independence Grove forest preserve. On August 31, 2008 my Grandmother passed away from Dementia. Although my family knew that my Grandma was in the last stage of the disease, we did not realize that this stage would pass so quickly. Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease are terrible diseases that tear apart people's lives. My Grandma was an extremely caring, loving, and giving person. She helped my family pay the bills when my dad lost his job, she helped my parents put a down payment on the house I live in now, and she did countless selfless things to just see people happy. My Grandmother loved to go to church, take walks, having wonderful conversations with family and friends, and bake her bread and cookies (a family favorite). Dementia ripped all of the things my Grandma loved away from her. Although my family and I visited her very often, it still could not bring back her memory, ability to walk, or even talk. I started this team to get my family together to remember all the wonderful things about my Grandmother. We walked this year for the first time, and just a month after my Grandmother had passed. It was a heart warming experience to have our family together to support one another. Our experience with CustomInk was just great. Not only did we get to order my Grandma's favorite color for our t-shirts, but we were able to custom design the font and words on the front of the shirt. What really blew me away was that a representative from CustomInk emailed me to let me know that they would be donating to our fund. It was a very unreal moment. Usually companies just want your business, but CustomInk really wants to connect with their customers. Thank you CustomInk for a wonderful t-shirt that just made our family unified and stronger. We are Grandma's Angels."

"This is a picture of our first day as a second grade team! We teach in Algonquin, IL and order t-shirts every year to unify us as one. It was a busy summer, so when the beginning of August rolled around, we had to get t-shirts and fast! This website was simple and fun to use! I came up with many designs and had chosen many colors! Well the girls all wanted to go with a Chocolate Brown t-shirt! I questioned it knowing that the idea might have been a joke to have that color (since my Wedding is at the end of September and my colors are Chocolate and Raspberry!) Well, no one else thought it was a joke! We ended up getting that color and with our last names on the back with a number "2" to symbolize who we are! I have to say we've never had more compliments from the other grade level team and EVERYONE wanted in on the action with Customink! I've referred a handful of people already!"

"Exelon Corp. Finance Dept. located in Chicago, IL has an annual softball tournament and each department under Finance creates a team. We didn't win it all but had a lot of funny participating especially wearing our Closer t-shirts. Working with CustomInk was easy, fun and fast. "We had our shirts made for a charity kickball tournament that was held in Chicago, back in July 2008. This picture was taken after six straight, exhausting hours of kickball. Needless to say, we didn't win the tournament, but we played great thanks to our awesome shirts. We received so many compliments throughout the day and were pumped when others said that we were the most intimidating team on the fields. What you can't see is that we even had nicknames and numbers on the back of our shirts. We are very please with our final product and will definitely order from CustomInk again. "Here we are, the Animal Rights Club at CICS Northtown, getting ready for our Earth Day education campaign. We spent the day urging others to "Go Green" to protect the polar bears and other animals of the earth.
