We didn't want her to go into labor during the 10K walk so we bought a wheelchair for her so she could still be a part of the team. "We took a fifth grade field trip to the American Village, a living history museum, at Montevallo, AL. There were lots of other school groups there, but our kids were proud of their shirts and also were easy to find. Here they are being drilled in the fine art of what it was like to be a continental soldier. In a short while they will all be bearing wooden muskets and fighting the battle."

"We got the shirts for my son's 13th birthday. The picture on the front of the shirt is a super dorky picture of him. The party consisted of starting out at a pizza place for what all of the kids thought was just a regular surprise party. During the party we had a staged murder complete with a dead guy on the floor and a cop running in. From there the kids were sent out on a hunt looking for clues and treasures, and along the way they had to complete certain tasks-which is why some of the kids have their faces painted and are wearing crowns. It was a major hit!"
