"As captain of Team MS HWY, I can proudly boast the we achieved our fundraising goal. We were 16 members strong, 4 of which have MS, including myself. The Pittsburgh MS Walk started at PNC Park and went around Heinz Field. Once all the money is counted Team MS HWY will fall into the Top 25 Fundraising Teams in Western PA and our team photo has been submitted for consideration on 2008 MS Walk flyers. "Everyone on our team loved the t-shirts! It was a total of 30 people on our team. The little ones looked the cutest with their t-shirts. The event was great. We decided to be a part of 2007 Arthritis Walk because my 18 month old daughter was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of 15 months (The little one wearing the blue shirt) and I was diagnosed with the same illness at the age of 2 (The other one with the blue shirt.) We were very successful with our fundraising and customink.com couldn't have made it easier for me and my husband to design the shirts. The service was extraordinary in every way! "Every year CSUSM Associated Students Inc. puts on Alternative Spring Break (ASB). ASB is a substance free week that enables students to do community service instead of partying for spring break. Each year they work with different organizations. This year they worked with Habitat for Humanity and built houses for those who lost their homes in Hurricane Katrina.
