"We are all pediatric resident physicians at our local children's hospital. We decided to put together our own softball team this summer just to get out, have some fun, and socialize outside of work. "Scut Monkey" is a slang word referring to new or young doctors in a hospital that are often assigned the most undesirable tasks ("scutwork"). As residents, we thought it was a great name - it poked fun at some of our daily assignments and had a nice ring to it too! This is a team photo - complete with our puppy mascot - after a nice comeback." -
