"This Christmas break, 38 Fairfield University students and 2 employees traveled to New Orleans to help rebuild homes devastated by Hurricane Katrina. This trip was completely student lead and this is the first time a student lead service project has ever happened at Fairfield. We are a part of the Green Campus Initiative at school and spread our mission to New Orleans when we helped rebuild homes using recycled materials and environmentally friendly products.
