"This is our team, "Doing It For Daryl" at the Walk for PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) last year. This year will be our 3rd year walking and have gotten Customink.com shirts every year!
Here is a little about why we walk. Daryl Musick is the manager of eSkape Entertainment in Buffalo Grove, IL. As a past employee of 3 years, I can say that he has affected my life dramatically. He has become a father figure to many of the employees. Daryl suffers from PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease), which is a chronic illness where large cysts grow on the kidneys until they cannot function any longer. He is currently awaiting a kidney transplant on the IL and WI waiting lists. He goes to kidney dialysis 3 times a week, staying overnight in a hospital bed. Daryl also works 2 full time jobs, one at eSkape and also for Sears in Gurnee, IL. He has four kids, two of them being toddler twin boys. 3 of his 4 children will also suffer from this disease." -

I hope Daryl is doing okay. I too, am on dialysis three times a week and I have 3 small children. It can be very hard, just remember your life is not your own - you show others with your attitude. They learn courage, hope and love when their friends are in need. -pg
