"Amelia's Little Stars" at the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes

"This photo was taken at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Walk to Cure Diabetes at the Mall of America, January, 2009. Our daughter, Amelia, (pictured on left) was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2008 at the age of 8 months. Now 17-months old, Amelia served as the captain of our 48-member team, "Amelia's Little Stars." This was our first fund raising event to help find a cure for this disease, and our team raised over $6,000 to help find a cure for type 1 diabetes! Amelia is pictured here with her supportive 4-year-old sister (on right). CustomInk was a fabulous company with which to work. Each person with whom we spoke gave the ultimate attention to details and demonstrated superb customer service. They even went the extra mile and donated to JDRF in honor of our team! One customer service representative even took the time to learn about the details of our daughter's situation and sent a heart-felt message to us regarding her battle with diabetes. This is an amazing company and we will definitely work with them again!" -
