Marissa's Team by Marissa - May 19, 2008

"Team Marissa walked on May 18th, 2008 in the annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk to find a cure in Rochester, NY. Marissa was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in May 2007 so this was our first team event. We had 22 (2 mia for photo) team members and raised $2400.00 for research. We pray each day for a cure!!!! CustomInk was an amazing company to work with, the customer service reps were always friendly and beyond helpful. I will DEFINETLY be using them to design shirts for our annual walk in the future. Thanks Customink for helping to make our walk a memorable one!"

This year was a building year, we decided on a cool new logo and decided to purchase t-shirts for our students and tutor/mentors. "Team Carol's Angels participated in the Muscogee County Relay for Life '08 raising over $1800 for the American Cancer Society as a team!!! This was our first Relay event and we all look forward to participating again next year and raising even more money!! Our inspiration, Carol, is the spikey blue haired beauty to the far right. She is a cancer survivor and a real angel!! We ordered our shirts from Customink and were extremely pleased with the service and quality we received!!
